It’s so disappointing how many abject idiots have plagued YouTube. Her question is one of the best I’ve ever heard asked during a Presidential debate.
You have George H.W. Bush (millionaire oilman, son of a U.S. Senator), billionaire Ross Perot on stage, and the Governor of Arkansas Bill Clinton. Privileged men who will never have a financial woe for the rest of their lives. She highlighted a total financial and experiential detachment of our politicians with the lower and middle classes.
Ha! It’s funny how Clinton talks about excessive government spending, yet his wife is the Secretary of State in an administration that is spending it’s way into oblivion!

This question was famous. It killed Bush’s image for being unable to relate to the common man, let alone the economic woes and distress of the average Joe. His understanding of economics was directly challenged and his response was weak. Clinton jumped on this and gained a LOT of political capital from it.
