Frazier scenario. After all, Foreman was never in trouble going in with a much shorter fighter, because he could hook ‘em and uppercut ‘em with his admittedly slow but oh so powerful clubbing punches. Tell us what you think might have happened had they met in the ring? Differing opinions will not be deleted, they’re welcome, however rude and offensive remarks will be thrown in the dustbin! … George Foreman Mike Tyson Iron Big hardest KO pucnher punch ugly knockout round champion …

haha. they even said when Foreman fought Gerry Cooney that Foreman was taking a big risk fighting Cooney because Foreman’s fight with Tyson was already set up. Tyson probably had other motivations to lose to Douglas—lol.

  • jimmynablee says:

yes i agree.. even old foreman would destroy tyson.

  • yerty2000 says:

    ‘foreman would win mike tyson’

my god… that’s not even a valid sentence.

How can I take you with even a shred of credibility if you cannot articulate your point?

**decides little troll is not worth feeding**

  • jimmynablee says:

you again? yes, george foreman would win mike tyson…

  • yerty2000 says:

Convincing and well researched argument, you have there Consta..

‘you are a sad loser like tyson’

This is about the most intellectual thing you’ve ever said…

  • consta4891 says:

you are a sad loser like tyson.

  • yerty2000 says:

    Hiiiiiiiiiiii Consta!!

spouting your drivel here, are we? Tyson didn’t fight Foreman for the same reason he didn’t fight your mother.

Go on, call me a ‘fucking ignorant’, you know you want to….

  • consta4891 says:

You are only a fan of tyson, you do not cheat to anybody, and foreman would win.
Read the article ” why we never saw foreman-tyson “.
One of the journalists of boxing said that foreman 90-97 would win any tyson by ko.(styles).
He said ” I do not have doubt of the foreman who lost with holyfield by points, would win tyson by ko “

  • madmarv7 says:

I’m big fan of george foreman, frazier, and mike tyson, but mike tyson was really a killer in his prime, very very fast, punch like a truck, very agile. Saying that george foreman would take him out easily is just wrong in my opinion but who knows… nobody can know for sure who would win, thats why, for each have his own opinion …

  • consta4891 says:

yes? why then tyson avoided foreman? cus damato knew it, foreman would destroy any short puncher(marciano, frazier, dempsey, tyson…) foreman was stronger, bigger, harder puncher, better chin, more heart,…. foreman prme or old would destroy any tyson any day in the week.(styles). you know shit on boxing

  • madmarv7 says:

tyson in the 80’s would take him out

  • DocWyoming says:

Foreman vs. Lewis? Awesome fight. I give it to Foreman too, but remember, when asked who was most like him in modern times, Foreman said “Lennox Lewis”

  • DocWyoming says:

There are certain guys who would have done well in any era: From the 80s, Larry Holmes, and Witherspoon if he stayed of the drugs. From the 90s, Holyfield and Lewis.

  • DocWyoming says:

Right. The 70s featured numerous guys who would have held a title in the 80s or 90s.

  • consta4891 says:

i agree 100% falseistrue is a fucking retard ignorant. he know shit on boxing

  • consta4891 says:

lewis would destroy ali and foreman?
    lol fucking idiot, ignorant. motherfucker.
i would spit your face of idiot.
i fuck your mother every day

  • dhlfh says:

And seriously if you think the mid to late 80s tyson era was as good as the 70s era then i dont know what to say to you…..99 per cent of boxing fan’s would disagree with you…

  • dhlfh says:

Ali would have only been a crusierweight in today’s era….,im a big fan of lennox,he’s very underrated but if Rahamn and mc call who were average heavyweight’s sparked him out,i dread to think what foreman might have done..

  • falseistrue says:

BOTH ERAS WERE THE SAME!! Just better marketing promotion and hype in the 70s..THATS ALL. Ali was NOT LIKED until AFTER his career.. We grew up knowing the Ali the world embraced not knowing the world hated his fucking guts because of his big mouth and draft dodging. So that alone as influenced people to believe the 70s was better. Its amazing you people think those guys were GREAT. Lennox Lewis would DESTROY THOSE GUYS AS WELL.

  • dhlfh says:

what does it matter,Ali fought better man, tyson was more exciting, but that dont mean shit, arturo Gatti was ten times more exciting than floyd mayweather, does that make him better..of course not…so according to you tyson’s era of Berbick, tubbs, bruno, spinks, douglas, thomas was better than the era of Ali,foreman, frazier, quarry, shavers, lyle,Norton?

  • Adebay0r says:

70’s was the golden age of heavyweight boxing, not boxing all together. Personally I believe that the standard of boxing has gotten better and better.

As for Ali struggled against Frazier and Norton, who were KO’d by others is simply a case of styles making fights, Ali never had devestating KO power like George or Mike.

  • falseistrue says:

Most of the people that say the 70s was the best era are the same motherfuckers RUNNING THE BOXING INDUSTRY TODAY! They ALL grew up in that era!! So OF COURSE they will say it was the best fighters!! Kids are the most honest and see the unbiased truth much better than a fucking lying ass adult. Show a kid a Ali fight and show him a tyson fight and see what the kid have to say about who would win!!!! Get ANY Ali fight and put it against Tyson! ALi HIGHLIGHTS are fucking boring..LOL!!
